Position Overview:
The Catering Sales Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring the flawless execution of events. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sales, outstanding communication skills, and a deep understanding of the catering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences to deliver personalized solutions.
- Collaborate closely with our culinary and operations teams to develop tailored proposals, menus, and event plans that exceed client expectations.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing strategies in a clear, compelling, and professional manner.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and long-term partnerships.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics, providing regular reports and updates to management.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be on feet during catering events, and work on a food truck.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of success in catering sales or related industry, with a minimum of [insert number] years of experience.
